The woman you would actually be meeting
Earthy Angels is not a franchise with a founder somewhere in the background. Lisa teaches the classes, leads the retreat, holds the circles and hosts the podcast. If you come to Ormeau, she is who you meet.
Who Lisa is
Lisa Everding is a former personal trainer, a retreat leader, a mentor and a speaker. She founded Earthy Angels and teaches in the room she built, leads the Bali retreat that has sold out three years running, holds the women’s circles, and hosts the podcast.
That list is long on purpose, because it is the point. Most studios of this size are a timetable and a roster. This one is one woman across all of it, which is why the path from a first class to sitting in a circle to seven days in Bali exists at all — it is the same person at every step, and she already knows how you are going.
The one rule
Authenticity over perfection
I always talk about authenticity over perfection. I don’t want a studio or social feed looking so perfectly curated in matching fits that women feel they don’t fit in, it’s about real people.
This is not a tagline that got written for the website. It is the reason the photographs on this site are the actual room rather than a stock library, and the reason nobody here is going to tell you what your body should look like by Christmas.
It also sets what you can expect on the day. Wear what you can move in. Be as unfit, as stiff, as out of practice or as far along as you are. Nobody is auditing it.

Why women only
Every class, every circle and every retreat at Earthy Angels is women only. It is a policy, not a marketing lean, and it does not have an exception clause.
The reason is ordinary rather than ideological. A woman coming back to movement after an injury, a baby, an illness or a decade away is usually managing one quiet worry — that she will be the least capable person in the room and everyone will see it. Taking half the room out of the equation removes a layer of that on the first day, before anything else has had a chance to help.
There is nothing comparable in the immediate Ormeau area, which is the other half of why the studio is here.
The fastest way to find out whether any of this is for you is to be in the room.
See this week’s classesWhere people usually start
There is no correct order and no expectation that you move along it. Most women stay in one place for a long time, and that is a complete use of it.
A class at the studio
Yoga, Pilates, barre and Restore, taught in one room in Ormeau. Seven days for $39 is the low-risk way to find out whether the place suits you.
A women’s circle
A facilitated evening where everybody faces each other rather than the front. No movement, no performance, and no obligation to say anything.
Working with Lisa directly
The Inner Circle and 1:1 mentoring — for the work underneath the movement. Both start with a conversation.
Hear her before you meet her
Earthy Angels Connect is Lisa’s podcast — conversations with women about the things that actually get in the way. It is free, and there are hours of it.
That is a deliberate offer rather than a content strategy. Whether any of this is for you comes down to whether her voice lands with you, and you can settle that on a drive to work without booking anything.
